Having arrived tired and weary after a 4 hour drive including the M25 and M4, never a good combination on a Monday morning, I was delighted to see that my attendance at our annual Sales and Marketing Conference had been noted and I was given my delegate pack, including a very good looking Promotional Bag, Conference Folder, quality promotional pen, and this time a small promotional gift as well.
After such a hideous drive, following registering for the conference I had time to check in to my room, which was amazingly available, the hotel had obviously not been busy the night before; I really had no expectation of being able to check in to my room, I always anticipate if I arrive in the morning that my room will not be available until much later that afternoon, therefore on this occasion I was both surprised and delighted.
After freshening up it was back down to the conference hall for tea and coffee before the start of the conference. At this year’s conference in addition to the main plenary sessions there was a small exhibition running alongside with many of the companies suppliers taking exhibition stands, all looking very professional with their banner stands strategically placed.
The Conference Folder included my conference schedule for the next 2.5 days. Over the years I have received many types of bags and folders and particularly liked this year's versions. I find them incredibly useful to keep notes and all the hand-outs we are given. This year’s folder had been very well put together, everything I needed including the conference schedule, list of attendees at the Conference, list of all the speakers for each session and which syndicate group I would be in for the duration of the conference.
I find these conferences incredibly useful particularly to meet colleagues from across Europe who do the same job. There is nothing like sharing your experiences, swapping ideas and generally putting the world to rights in your given field with your peer group. It is something I look forward to every year, of course I talk to my colleagues via email and the telephone constantly but there is nothing like actually sitting down face to face and talking through ideas and problems that we both share.
During the next 2.5 days my Conference Folder is in constant use as I delve in and out of it looking at the schedule, finding what time the next syndicate session starts, finding out who the guest speaker is in the plenary session and reading his biography, as usual I have lost my promotional pen, however the lovely team on the help desk have a huge supply which are given out generously to all who ask throughout the conference. What would we do without the promotional pen!

Informative post regarding Promotional Bags and Conference Folders. Promotional bags are good option which is widely used for branding.
